Final walk through inspection - A few days before the closing, you will conduct a final walk through of the premises. The walk through is not a contingency of the sale, but is to confirm that any repairs agreed to in writing have been completed and the premises are in substantially the same condition as on the acceptance date of the contract.
Transferring utilities - We suggest that you contact your local utility provider to determine the best way to transfer services into your name. It is usually easier to transfer the services into your name than to start new service after the utility provider has disconnected service.
Intermountain Gas:

Close of escrow – The Title Company will receive instructions and prepare the documents for closing. Just prior to the closing date, they will provide a Closing Statement that summarizes the financial details of the transaction. You should examine the documents carefully to be sure they are accurate. At the closing, the title company will have you sign the final documents. Once both parties have signed, the title company will record the deed and disburse funds to the appropriate parties. Once the deed has been recorded, your will officially be the new owner.
